The first post of a blog has the role of an editorial in the first issue of a magazine: it says everything and says nothing, it must indicate a direction. And to indicate a direction we must start from the past.

And to indicate a direction we must start from the past.

Minodesign.it is a domain registered in 2004 and initially born as a blog (when WordPress was also at the beginning!) Then over the years it has been a multimedia site in Flash, static portfolio site, then still WP responsive site “SEO oriented”.
In short, it was a space for experimentation with new techniques of web communication and web design.

Blog.minodesign.it will be independent of the official website (in progress) and not the usual blog from neglected web agency, with the typical articles of the series “the 5 things to do for …” or “the 10 mistakes to avoid for … ”

Do not do anything yourself first, because communication is a complex job today more than ever, and there is really no reason why once you went to the advertising agency, now you have to improvise for free without results on social networks.

Even once the do it yourself existed: you put a sign in the window, photocopied some flyers and tried, knowing full well that the results would come only by publishing quality ads in the newspapers, as did the reference competitors.

Now everything seems changed and instead NO, the needs of people have remained the same: choose a product, eat, travel, health, care of aesthetics, recognize yourself in a brand, luxury.

The means have changed, and the way to search: Google and Facebook as advertising media instead of newspapers, YouTube instead of TV and smartphone as a research tool.

Furthermore, the theme of the future. SMEs and local shops are so focused on operational management that they do not see the wave coming. Already in the next 3-5 years will speed up the change in the buying habits of Italians: the success of Amazon in 2017 is a first important sign.
Millennial consumers will be popular: those born in the 80s-90s, a generation with values and buying habits that are very different from the previous ones!

Finally, the blog will also host ‘light’ content, like some explanations to understand the trends that periodically rage in the communication sector, along with unplanned contents related to news of the moment, especially for the social audience.
